My Back is back!

Submitted by admin on Friday, January 15 2010No Comment

Hello Stranger! Sorry I have been away from you for so long. I have been dealing with pretty serious back pain for the past month and today is my first day back in front of the computer. If you have ever experienced back trouble, you know what I’m talking about. There were days when the pain was enough to make a tear come to my eye and there was no getting comfortable.

Luckily, I found a chiropractor who helped me, but also, a member of our “Food Group” known as Diva Deb gave me a tip that I want to share with you. She told me to get to the store, buy a couple of pineapples, and eat them non-stop for the next two days…your back pain will ease. The bromelain in the pineapple cuts the inflammation, joint and back pain and will have you in comfort in a matter of a few hours…”google” pineapple and back pain…

Well, when you are in pain, you will try everything to get relief! Now, neither Diva Deb or myself is a doctor, nor are we dispensing medical advice, but I have to say, “the pain went away”!

So often we dismiss the importance of what we eat and our overall health. Maybe you made this New Year’s Resolution already…(and may have broken it already too), but take small steps to eat healthier and give your family more healthy choices.

Diva Deb reminded me that you can take small steps and celebrate small successes. Given time, each small step will bring you to your goal as you celebrate along the way!

If you have any experience with back pain and care to share…please leave a blog post below. Or, if you have any similar, uncommon remedies you would like to share with the rest of our “Food Group”, I’d love to hear about them!

PS. I will return to making regular posts on Monday. If there is any topic you would like me to cover, just leave a post. I’m here for you…
